This is one of my favorite DIY’s. I went through an obsession with lace crop tops, but most of the one’s I came across were really expensive. Before I knew it, I found this gorgeous red lace dress… It was perfect!
I took it to JoAnne’s so that I could find some fringe to match the color…
And then cut the dress! After I cut it, I carefully sewed the fringe onto it (my gosh it was difficult to sew onto lace). I recommend going at an incredibly slow rate with a sewing machine.
Here’s a quick look at another crop top I did simultaneously! It was an old peplum top that had a stain on the bottom of it. I cut at the seem and hemmed. Once that was done, I added a strip of jeweled tassel.
